Bar Rescue Review is an independent record of every bar rescued on Bar Rescue. For each of the 284 bars featured across seasons 1–10 and the Lost Episode special, it documents the episode, the name Jon Taffer relaunched the bar under, and the outcome — still trading, sold, or closed. Every status is cited to its sources on the bar's own page.
Episode details are drawn from the Wikipedia episode list. Open and closed statuses, sales and closure dates are cross-checked between two long-running trackers, Reality TV Revisited and Reality TV Updates; where they disagree, the status supported by a dated closure report prevails. A bar is marked unconfirmed, rather than guessed, where reports conflict or the evidence has gone quiet. A sale is recorded as an event, never as a status: bars that were sold appear with their open or closed status, and the sale is recorded in their key dates and facts. Two bars — Second Base Bar and Grill in Orange, California and Champagne's Cafe in Las Vegas — were each featured in two episodes, so the 284 pages here count televised rescue episodes, with a page for each appearance. Survival percentages compare each bar against the 141 rescued bars whose closing date is known — bars that closed before their episode aired count as the shortest runs, and bars whose closing date is unknown are excluded rather than estimated. Statuses were last compiled in October 2026; bars change hands and close without notice, so confirm directly before travelling to one listed as open.
A tracker saying a bar is open is a claim, not evidence. Every status on this site is backed by multiple named sources, shown on the bar's own page in a Sources & evidence section: what each source says, and a link to it. Each page carries one verification line giving the month its facts were last checked against those sources. Sources are weighed in a fixed order — the bar's own announcements first (its Instagram, its website, local news), then its owner-claimed Yelp record, then its Google listing, then the long-running fan trackers — because listings and trackers can lag reality by months. Where sources disagree, the disagreement is printed on the page rather than quietly resolved. As of the latest build, 269 of the 284 bar pages cite at least three sources; 140 pages show a Google listing check, 271 a Yelp record, 133 a verified Instagram profile and 34 the bar's own website. Coverage grows with each weekly sweep.
