Stand Up, Scottsdale closed in April 2017. Plans to reopen in 2018 did not happen. Owner Howard reversed a number of the changes from the rescue, including those to the green room and the name. Bar Rescue had to return to repaint the exterior after the colour breached local policy.
What happened next
The Laugh Factory name did not last. Shortly after filming, owner Howard restored the original Stand Up, Scottsdale name. Howard later said he had signed up for the show mainly for publicity and that the experience was not what he wanted, and he spoke critically of Bar Rescue afterwards.
