What happened next
About two months after the episode aired, owner Pauly Ambrus discarded the Canyon Saloon name and renamed the bar Canyon Inn Sports Bar and Grill, the name under which it continued to trade in Yorba Linda. The bar remained open and active on Facebook, hosting live music, karaoke and sports events. In July 2025, its liquor licence was suspended for 35 days after an investigation found that employees had served alcohol to two minors, who were then involved in a single-vehicle collision in which a passenger died and the driver was seriously injured. A further three-year suspension was stayed, to take effect if further violations occurred within that period. Reviews were mixed at about 3 stars on Yelp, with praise for low drink prices and criticism of the food.
