The rescue
Jon Taffer kept the name Club Platinum for the relaunch.
Club Platinum has closed; its Google listing is marked permanently closed (checked October 2026). A sale listing posted in late 2022 at around $5 million briefly went into escrow in 2023 but had been withdrawn by February 2024, and the property was later listed for sale again.
What happened next
Sales rose 30% at the six-week check-in. Owner Rita Capovilla fired underperforming dancers and hired replacements, while her daughter Alissa took over managing the club, allowing Rita to step back from day-to-day work. The club remained open as of 2024. It was listed for sale in late 2022 at around $5 million, with much of the value attributed to its rare combination of adult, gaming, and liquor licenses. The listing was marked in escrow in March 2023 but returned to active status by June 2023, suggesting the deal fell through, and by February 2024 the listing was no longer active. Reviews were mixed, at 3.5 stars on Yelp and five stars across its Facebook reviews. The club has since closed: its Google listing is marked permanently closed (checked October 2026), and the Flamingo Road property was listed for sale.
